A typical hour…. it’s exciting to me!

Yeah, it is Monday Listicles day! This week we were tasked with making a list that reflects 10 things that have happened to us in an hour. I decided to pick a hour in typical weekday.

2:30 Say good bye to all my students. Love ‘em, but bye!

2:35 Take few minutes to tidy up the classroom and prep for the next day…

2:45 I’m pulling that car out park on the way home….

3:05 I’m listening to Michael Basiden, or singing along with my car radio…

3:10 Welcome home! Greeted by Mari…

3:12 Wrangling Mari into her lease…

3:20 Walking to the mailbox wondering if I won anything from my sweeping

3:21 Fussing at Mari to “hurry up and poop!” (She must smell every blade of grass first!)

3:25 Falling on the couch….

3:30 Turn on the TV and computer to zone out until my hubby comes home!

Regimented? Yeah, this is typical. But it is what happens most days :-)

What are you doing during this time of day??

Sounds good. Coming home from work must be so liberating. And isn’t the prep before our dogs poop mad?! It’s like rocket science.

  3. Hey fellow teacher! Your one hour sounds quite relaxing if I don’t say so myself. Wish I had one of those hours in my day. I do actually but it’s not until all the kids are in bed!

Regimented??? Nah…I like to think of it as “Extremely Organized”! :D

Sounds perfectly divine to me! With the exception of waiting on the dog to poop. Goodness those were frustrating times. I love having a fenced yard ;O) My dog is stubborn….especially when its raining.

  8. Susi says:

It takes my dogs forever to find just the right spot. We walk the same route almost every day and still it’s always a new spot!!! It’s a nice hour to relax after a long day at work.

It sounds lovely, with the exception of the dog pooping part. Ha! Thanks for linking up!

  13. Great that you have typical evenings like this! My kids can’t wait to have a dog. I tell them they’ve gotta be willing to handle doggie poop first :)
